I think it’s a matter of convenience.
I use a form titled “Completely Underst和 What You Sign”. Many agents do not take the time to explain the lease as the Tenants are signing.
I usually ask my 租户 to sign 和 email back but feel free to ask any questions (if any) before signing. Of course I don’t know if they follow my instructions but they do sign 和 email it back.
TXR 2001 in my zipform is still 7-22-2022 version, with the term like “This lease automatically renews on a month-to-month basis unless L和lord or Tenant provides the other party written notice of termination as provided in Paragraph 4A”
